The Icarus Project
DEVISED BY New Mythology
The Icarus Project was a concept production based on the Greek myth of Icarus and Daedalus. Using multiple methods of expression including puppetry, mask work, viewpoints, and the Moment Work method, we devised a new take on the Icarus myth, centering Daedalus's experience as a father who watches all of his creations fail.
The Icarus Project was developed in the spring of 2025 and presented at Texas State University in April of 2025.
