Macbeth

In the fall of 2025, I directed an ensemble of BFA actors at Texas State University in a 90-minute cut of Shakespeare's Macbeth. This showcase production was intended as an introduction to classical performance for the undergraduates, and a laboratory for me to experiment with staging Shakespearean text. We had a shifting cast of five Macbeths and three Lady Macbeths. We worked with minimal technical support and shifted the focus to the staging, connection to the text, and clarity of story.
Macbeth was presented at Evans Auditorium at Texas State University on Friday, December 13 2024.
