KEEP YOUR LIGHT ON, PANDORA
DEVISED BY THE UTOPIA COLLECTIVE

Keep Your Light On, Pandora is an immersive, site-specific production devised by the Utopia Collective. Based on John Lyly's 1695 play The Woman in the Moon, the play follows the creation of Pandora, the first woman. Jealous of her perfection, the Planets try to exert their influence on her as she moves through life, teaching her harsh lessons about the reality of the world.

This immersive production brought the audience along to a sleepover with Mercury, an oppressive classroom with Saturn, a chaotic film set with Mars, a raucous club with Venus and finally returning to the Moon, where Pandora learns to accept herself and all of her flaws.

Keep Your Light On, Pandora was first developed in May 2025 and held public performances in July and August 2025 at Texas State University.
