Romeo & Juliet
BY William Shakespeare
What happens when the future is sacrificed for the sake of the present? I approached Shakespeare's classic tale of love and hate with an eye on generational violence. Verona became a world of brutalism and stone, and it was the youth that brought the light and color into it. Through this production, I attempted to do justice for each character, and delve into what made their culture so divisive.
